Extend your salon services

Rapture Rapid training introduces our tape method of hair extension application, without bonds, knots, beads or wires. The system is designed to sit discreetly in the hair while offering a fast application method for salon use.
A full-head application can be completed in around 45 minutes. This makes the method worth exploring if you want to broaden your extension services while considering how an appointment fits into a working salon day.
With regular salon maintenance, the hair can be used for approximately six to nine months. Ongoing appointments are part of looking after the extensions; this is not a recommendation to leave them in place without maintenance for that period.
The training and full kit are offered together, giving qualified hairdressers a clear starting point for learning the Rapture Rapid system.

For a client with very fine or thinning hair, extra volume can be an important part of the look they want to achieve. The Postiche Lite Volumiser, unique to Banbury Postiche, gives you an added-hair option to explore as part of your salon services.
This one-day course focuses on the Postiche Lite Volumiser system. With a kit and your first volumiser included, it brings the product and training together in one package.

Discover the work behind a finished wig, from understanding the history of postiche to preparing hair and developing the techniques used in its construction. This course brings practical craft topics together with an introduction to the commercial influences that shape a wig business.
The course covers raw hair preparation, single knotting and two-string wefting. These topics introduce different parts of the making process and give context to the materials and techniques you work with.
Alongside the craft, the course explores developing, promoting and building a wig business. It is an opportunity to consider how technical skills and a clear understanding of your market can support one another.

Do I need a hairdressing qualification?
Rapture Rapid training requires NVQ Level 2 in hairdressing. Entry requirements for the Postiche Lite Volumiser and wig-making courses are not specified here; please contact the team to discuss your experience and suitability.
Are training kits included?
The Rapture Rapid package includes training and a full kit. The Postiche Lite Volumiser package includes a one-day course, kit and the first volumiser. Please ask about materials and equipment for the wig-making course when enquiring.
Can I take a single wig-making module?

How long can Rapture Rapid hair be used?
